Taste My Last Contraption

blueflash19 Been listening to General Winston a lot lately. The genre is almost impossible to categorise: can seem to vary from verging on prog (Taste My Last Contraption) to something approaching The Cramps (I Survived My First Apocalypse). Closest approximation would be some of Patti Smith’s wilder 70s stuff.

Urge you to check these guys out, both live and here on Bandcamp; It’s my goto stuff for driving home fast late at night. Favorite track: Taste My Last Contraption.

lyrics

Come inside and see the smiling faces
They extend to the deepest, darkest places
I miss living in my own distraction
Hear and see and taste my last contraption

Taste My Last Contraption

Walk among me and my last disciples
Angers implied by the shooting rifles
I wish only not to fear reaction
Hear and see and taste my last contraption

Taste My Last Contraption

He has eyes, and he can fly, and he knows why
You're coming back to me
